The competition among the best Warzone players might be a lot harder than you would think. That’s because Call of Duty Warzone is becoming more and more popular by the day. Mostly because it’s the only free title of all Call of Duty games.

But apart from being one of the best free crossplay games on the market right now, CoD Warzone offers another opportunity. While casual players are looking for something more dynamic than the best CoD Zombie modes, others are looking for a new career opportunity.

Who is the best Warzone player 2023

01. Best Warzone Players Adyan

The most widely recognized best Warzone player has to be Aydan ‘Adyan’ Conrad. He is a highly acclaimed figure in the Warzone community, known for his aggressive playstyle. Despite starting his esports career as a Fortnite competitor, Aydan transitioned to Warzone when the title was released.

There he quickly established himself as one of the best CoD players globally, at least in Warzone. Aydan’s lightning-fast reflexes, rapid movement, and weapon accuracy have earned him a lot of wins, solidifying his reputation as the best Warzone player. Since then, he has earned a staggering  $560.000 from top-tier Warzone competitions.

Due to an already established following in the Fortnite community, his talent quickly caught the attention of the Call of Duty community.  The New York Subliners saw the chance and swooped in to sign him as both a content creator and a Warzone esports player.

Aydan’s credibility comes from his versatility, as he’s one of the few Warzone pros climbing up CoD ranks due to his remarkable abilities on a controller. While most of the higher-ranked players prefer a PC setup, Aydan consistently performs well against fierce competition regardless of his platform.

He has claimed the top spot in Warzone’s ranking system multiple times, solidifying his place in our best Warzone players tier list. Apart from being an amazing Warzone player, Aydan’s a really great entertainer as well. From duos with MuTeX and ZLaner to winning tournaments with Rated and others, he’s got it all covered.

02. Best Warzone Players Tommey

At a close second, we have Thomas “Tommey” Trewren. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Tommey is widely regarded as an elite Warzone player on the global stage. With almost a decade of experience in the professional Call of Duty scene, he possesses exceptional leadership capabilities on top of remarkable gaming skills.

As of October 2023, it’s been a year since Tommey last had an organization backing him. Prior to this, he was a prominent content creator and Warzone player for 100 Thieves, a revered Esports organization within the NA market.

But Tommey hasn’t managed to gain recognition as the best Warzone player only because he had a strong following and a big platform. As a former competitive Call of Duty professional, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren was among the first stars of Warzone when it was first released.

He swiftly adapted to the new environment, emerging as one of the most influential personalities and accomplished streamers within the Warzone scene. This had led to him being actively engaged in virtually every Warzone tournament since the game’s launch, either performing or streaming it.

With an impressive win rate at the highest ranks every month, it’s no wonder Tommey is a clear-cut above the top Warzone players. His experience and knowledge guarantee him success in any situation, regardless if he’s on stage or in his streaming room.

Considering his professional gaming career began in 2010 under Reign Esports, Tommey has solidified his status as one of Europe’s most celebrated and popular esports players. We’re sure that if he wanted, he could rule the Apex ranked system as well. Or any battle royale for that matter.

With over $360k earned from his Warzone endeavors alone, it is safe to put your mouth where the money is when talking about the best Warzone player ever.

03. Best Warzone Players Almond

If you are wondering who is the best Warzone player who didn’t have previous competitive Call of Duty experience, we got you covered. Almond, Tommey’s trusted Warzone duo, has swiftly risen to fame as one of the top Warzone players in the global Warzone community.

His remarkable game sense, map knowledge, and exceptional movement skills have set him apart as a force to be reckoned with. Despite being an unknown commodity prior to Warzone’s 2020 release, Almond quickly gained recognition in the Warzone community, proving his worth through outstanding gameplay.

Almond hasn’t played much in 2023, but by 2022 Almond had amassed over $335k in earnings from Warzone competitions. 2022 was his most impressive year by far, despite being signed with Minnesota Rokkr as a content creator.

He was arguably the best Warzone player last year, excelling in duos, trios, and other competitive modes. Consistently proving his skills against top-tier opponents was one of the main reasons he secured a first-place finish in the Baka Bros WonderLAN tournament, where he claimed the first-place prize of $25,00

Considering he has clinched victory in an impressive 49 tournaments since the inception of the title, that $335k mark seems kind of low. Alongside Tommey and Newbz from the TBE crew, Almond has established himself as a frontrunner in the competitive Warzone scene.

Almond’s ascent through the Warzone ranks was particularly impressive. Outpacing established players like HusKerrs and Aydan, while the most experience he had was probably a CoD Zombie game mode.

After teaming up with Tommey, Almond has dominated Warzone tournaments regardless of formatting thanks to his raw talent and profound understanding of the game.  Although the Warzone landscape is highly competitive, Almond’s consistent performance and strategic prowess have solidified his position among the best Warzone players.

HusKerrs, also known as Jordan Thomas, is the next entry on our best Warzone players tier list. He has made a significant mark in the world of esports, particularly in the Call of Duty franchise and Warzone.

HusKerrs joined Luminosity Gaming in September 2022, and he’s the only mouse and keyboard player among the top five highest-earning Call of Duty Warzone players. With previous ties to brands like NRG and Team SoloMid, these achievements have made him widely recognized as the best Warzone player globally.

His professional journey kicked off in 2017 when he participated in H1Z1 tournaments and steadily transitioned into a full-time gaming career. HusKerrs’ Twitch streaming career started in 2012 and saw him initially exploring various games before focusing on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 content.

With a total of $286,000 earned from 76 tournaments, he has proved to be a worthy investment. Finishing second at the eFuse Destroy’s Drops 10K tournament is his highest placement, alongside another second place finish at the WSOW North American Trios Final.

These hea teamed up with other notable streamers such as Biffle and Repullze. Outside of those 2 instances, he’s ranked between 7th and 22nd in subsequent competitions, with his most recent appearance being in the Call of Duty King #4 event in August 2023.

After a short competitive career in Apex and CoD with multiple organizations like Sicario Gaming, Team Divine, and Carnage Gaming, Newbz found significant success in content creation.

One of his most notable achievements occurred this July, when he emerged victorious in the World Series of Warzone 2023 NA Stage Two Finals, securing a substantial prize of $30,000. His tremendous IGL (in-game leader) capabilities have shaped the Warzone meta post-events.

Alongside his TBE trio partners, Almond and Tommey, Newbz displayed his skills at the WSOW Global Final, where they clinched the third position. Despite not being as flashy as some of his counterparts, Newbz’s consistent performance in has propelled him in both Warzone ranked and the competitive scene.

07. Best Warzone Players Fifakill

Ethan “Fifakill” Pink is one of the most popular CoD warzone content creators in 2023. Bein considered by many as the best Warzone player at the moment certainly helps with that. Fifakill’s success story in Warzone spans several years, where he has consistently fought for the throne.

Despite the geographical distance from major tournaments and top-tier competitors, Fifakill has emerged as one of the game’s most prolific names. Apart from his usual ranked masterclasses, his victories include notable wins in the World Series of Warzone’s $100k Solo Yolo and the TimTheTatman $150k Kill Race events.

His triumph at the World Series of Warzone marked as one of the most intense single Warzone matches ever, solidified his status as one of the world’s best players. However, the tournament faced issues with a lot of bugs and errors. On that note, the competitive integrity of the result was put in jeopardy when renowned players like Aydan and ZLaner were affected.

In addition to his competitive achievements, Fifakill has established himself as a highly successful content creator and one of the top Warzone Twitch streamers globally. He boasts an impressive following of over 400,000 Twitch followers, a testament to his skill, dedication, and engaging content.

08. Best Warzone Players DiazBiffle

Diaz Biffle is one of the most infamous CoD players currently in the Warzone 2 scene. The 20-year-old American Call of Duty esports player has been under compLexity Gaming for the past 2 years, but most of the buzz surrounding has been due to his streaming career.

While many casual fans are quick to heap praise for his online performances, the cheater tag has been hanging over his head since his initial rise. Most recently he faced cheating accusations heading into the WSOW Global Final.

Most of his fan base was quick to point to the result of this tournament, claiming it debunked these claims as Biffle and his team emerged victorious. Despite securing 43 total kills and winning the whole thing, we cannot safely proclaim DiazBiffle as one of the best Warzone players in the current gaming scene.

This is because the level of competition at this LAN event was rather low, composed mostly of unknown streamers. Likewise, his level of play nowhere near matched his performance in online PUGS.

Props go out to the trio of Biffle, Sage, and Shifty who secured the first-place prize at the Global Finals. But that’s not enough for us to call him the best Warzone player in 2023.

Biffle gained notoriety alongside Sigils and Nicovald in a group called the Regulars. He is also known for his friendship with SSundee, a prominent Minecraft YouTuber. Apart from his Warzone streams, Biffle engages in a diverse range of content creation, including IRL challenges, vlogs, and reaction videos.
